360° Deployment

A field-proven, on-site deployment methodology focused on operational readiness.

Deploying a terminal solution is primarily about securing team buy-in and Ensuring uninterrupted terminal operations during go-live. Our approach combines field immersion, RACI steering, rapid iterations, and 24/7 support to achieve a seamless go-live.

Guiding Principles...

People First: Early engagement of all operational stakeholders (dock workers, supervisors, drivers, IT teams).
Change Management: Preventing rejection by co-constructing settings and HMI screens with end-users.
Short Iterations: Establishing an on-site pilot environment for rapid iteration cycles.
Transparency: A living RACI (updated after each milestone) and a single MGPS point of contact responsible for real-time diagnostics.

In 6 Steps

Deployment Journey

1

Immersion and Scope Definition

(Upon signature)

Short on-site mission: complete mapping (technical, process, social & usage).
Surveyor plan surveys and data collection for the geolocated reference system.
Provisional hardware kit delivered and installed under our supervision to set up the test lab.
Initial RACI refined (compared to the offer version), scopes and dependencies clarified.

2

Test Base & First Iterations

(T0 → T0+2/6 weeks)

• Installation of generic applications on local servers (pre-customization).
• Demos and refresher sessions with teams to capture field specifics.
Test loop → feedback → adjustment on the test base and pilot hardware already set up.

3

Procurement & Field Preparation

• Launch of manufacturing and orders from Day 0 (in parallel with iterations).
• Client reception and progressive integration onto the equipment fleet, respecting machinery availability.
Version plan: parameters, templates, user profiles, rights, contingency scenarios.

4

Commissioning & Go-Live Sequence

(Minimum 3 weeks on-site)

1/ Consolidation: latest versions, settings, hardware checks.
2/ Dry Run (Mock Go-Live): dress rehearsal on supervised real flows + personalized training for designated trainers and field sessions with users.
3/ Real Go-Live: reinforced MGPS presence 24/7, physical workstations covered, maintaining operational fluidity.

5

Hypercare & Ramp-up (intensive post-go-live support)

(A few days to a few weeks)

Close monitoring until full load stabilization.
Live resolution of contingencies, reduction of usability pain points.
Capitalization: root causes, quick wins, preventive plan.

6

Acceptance & Operational Handover

Final acceptance (agreed quality & performance criteria).
• Project closure file, final RACI, and transition to 24/7 After-Sales mode.

Training & HMI:
Acceptance through Usage

Local trainers equipped by MGPS (interactive materials + site-specific case studies).

Simple and repetitive Human-Machine Interface (several hundred actions per shift): every useful gesture is physically validated by system interconnection (SensorBox, central computer, onboard app, etc.).

Screens are adjusted with the teams to eliminate useless manipulations and accelerate adoption.

Governance & Quality

Living RACI (project owner, operations, IT, security, MGPS) updated at each stage.

Milestone clearance indicators: functional coverage, availability, cycle time, user acceptance.

Extended availability: effective support even with ± 8h time difference (already proven).

One voice, one responsibility: single MGPS point of contact, real-time diagnostics (soft & hard tools).
